Rewind started with a simple frustration: our movies, shows, music and memories were scattered across a dozen apps, services and drives — and none of them felt like ours.
One place for all of it
We wanted a single, beautiful home for everything we watch and hear — one we owned, that lived on our own server, and that looked as good as the services we were trying to leave behind.
Worry-free by design
So we made the tedious parts disappear. Drop a file in a folder — or connect your cloud — and Rewind fetches the artwork, the cast and the subtitles. You bring the content; it does the busywork.
A rewind soul
The name is a nod to the tapes and CRTs we grew up with — the little ritual of rewinding to the part you loved. Rewind keeps that warmth, wrapped in a fast, modern app.
You own it
Self-hosted, on your hardware, under your control. Your media never leaves your hands. That's the whole point.
