Connect Google Drive

No local storage to spare? Connect a Google Drive folder and Rewind treats it like any other library — metadata, direct play, transcoding and subtitles included.

What you'll need

  • A running Rewind server
  • A Google account with a Drive folder of media

    Open the Google connection

    In the dashboard, find the Google integration and start the sign-in.

    Authorize Rewind

    Approve access on the Google screen and you're returned to the dashboard.

    Choose your folder

    Point Rewind at the Drive folder you want as a library.

    Let it enrich

    Rewind reads the folder, fills in metadata and artwork, and it's ready to play — direct or transcoded — with subtitles.
